Earthy smells filled the air, fallen trees now decaying, the ashen smell of long burned undergrowth. Under all of that is the scent of dewdropped leaves and new life, when something passes on, it's energy feeds the forest and gives birth to new flora. Little birds ruffling their feathers and chasing each other through the trees, making a drumming noise travel through the air. Chirping sparrow chicks in their nests, shuffling around in wait for their mother. Greenery draped the trees, flowers sprouting in the morning sun, casting a brilliant glow through the forest. The air hung heavy in humidity around the fae, making her pelt lay down on her skin.
To'sa. It's a Lakhotan name, actually to be precise it's two names put together. To meaning blue and 'sa meaning red. It wouldn't make sense to call a Grey Wolf To'sa would it? No, because To'sa is a Lahkotan Dreca female. Brilliant faded red fur covers her athletic frame, both ears a darker blue as well as one paw and two random markings. This was very common in To'sa's family, not the colours but the characteristics that came with them. Sadly this had not been the way they used to look, they used to be normal wolves. But that all changed when the humans became to advanced and power hungry for the rest of the world. To think it had all started by learning the way of fire.
Swift paws pulsing against the ground almost silently, To'sa knew how to make herself invisible. It didn't take the humans experiments to learn how, it would prove very helpful when it came to hunting, because of her colourful coat, everything could notice her. To'sa's frame was very tall and lithe, but thin as well, she was very fast because of this. Sadly her lanky build made it hard to turn sharply, and so rabbits and small game were out of the question, so she was learning how to, slowly but surely.
Tail brushing against the trees and undergrowth softly. Alerting others to her presence, nevertheless they'd never figure out where she was. One second she was next to a poison ivy bush and the next she was up against an oak tree. To'sa was nature and nature was To'sa. They worked together to keep each other safe and well. The humans had almost ruined that, which is why wolves and humans had almost always been on opposing sides. One was for expanding and knowing more, the other was just for living their life.
And now see where they are. To'sa thought to herself in the irony of the moment. Some things are better off unknown.

Today was beautiful day, The sun was brightly shinning in the sky, Many other animals where out, birds where chirping making a nice sound in the sky, Squirrels where chewing their food, making a very loud crunching, But Stella did not mind. It had been months since Stella had found her sister, but now, just a few days ago the sisters had reunited.
Stella had been wondering Kaily City For 4 days, she had encountered many other wolfs and new places, many of them where beautiful, but on the fourth day Stella had ran into a wolf, the wolf had shocked her, but as she looked, it was her twin Lakita. The sisters had been so happy to see each other, they decided to live togther for a while again.
Stella walked through the Great Lightning Forest, he pelt shinning in the bright sun light, and behind her was her Sister Lakita, to day was a happy day for the twins, they had reunited and life was beginning.

He paws where silent as he stood upon a rock, his hazel gray eyes seeming to glow slightly. His blue tinged fur made him stand out. He seemed calm as ever. He was blind, for one, from tests at the lab, and he had weird runes swirling around his tail and paws. But this was not unusual in Kaily City. He had no idea how long he had been here, but he was guessig a day. Only a mere day he could not tell. But him not being able to see gave him the advantage of hearing far better than a normal blind wolf's heariong would be. He could hear Laki and Stella Luna, the twins, walking about two miles away from him. Time to crash the party.
Raising his head, he lunged off the cliff rock he had been standing on, his paws hitting the forest floor almost silently. His paws and legs seemed to blur as he ran. Somehow he knew when to duck or dodge trees and uprooted roots. Instinct told him to follow, but stay hidden. He slowed when he could smell another she-wolf, closer. He froze and hid into a thickbush, his hazel eyes wary.
His blindness did not evermean he wouldn't be able to manipulate in the world. No, that was so not true. A blind wolf, with the right instincts and with the skill could get around fine, like a normal wolf. But when you weren't normal, well, you where just a freak. That's what Hydrotoxic was. A freak. To some he was a freak and nothing more, but to others he had a gift. He had a reason to be blind. But he never cared what they all thought.
He inhaled silently, and caught the scent of To`sa. And only about twenty feet away. She might find him, she might not. He didn't care. His blind eyes stared at her from the dark bush he was in, even if he couldn't see her, he tried to imagine what they all looked like. A thought occured to him;; Were any of them blind like him?

To'sa They say that things happen for a reason, But no wise word's gonna stop the bleeding.
To'sa forced her ears to listen harder, beyond the forest's song. Filtering through all of the sounds her sensitive harks picked up the faint sound of eight paws moving forward. These two wolves weren't trying to hide where they were going, apparently they were quite laid back and ready for anything. The situation was probably helped because of the two being together. To'sa's paws kept surging her forward almost silently, keeping her to the shadows. Her muzzle parted slightly to help to pick up the scent of anything else that might be around her. The scent of another male came from the breeze behind her, she slowed slightly. Peering forward with her poor wolf eyesight she caught the two Dreca females, brightly coloured pelts, even more so than To'sa's fur. Small paws slowed to a walk, one blue paw, three red paws, one blue, three red. Her head lowered as she crept forward silently, placing one paw before the other. She turned her eyes in the direction of where the third wolf should be. A flash of blue fur caught her attention, so it was another Dreca, most likely a male.
To'sa didn't enjoy company, she could stand one wolf, or none but three? Keeping to the shadows she glanced around. She didn't like that one wolf was behind her while two were in front, her turquoise blue eyes narrowed. What she wouldn't do for the Shadow Manipulation power or even the Illusion Manipulation power right now. She could certifiably disappear, because when To'sa felt threatened or surrounded, she got angry, and she didn't like playing the bad guy. Hopefully the other wolves hadn't seen her, she could just slip away unseen, but she knew that hadn't happened. It was her chance to get used to company. So she sighed, sucked it up and walked toward the two Dreca females.
Her ears kept swivelling, listening for anyone else. Why not? Might as well invite every wolf down here. To'sa thought sarcastically. She was nervous, so she turned to sarcasm, it was just one trait she had caught from her parents. But instead of going to the two Dreca females, she howled. That way she could keep an eye on the Dreca male as well. Her voice was whimsical, she hardly used it but she knew it was beautiful. A small rose sprouted from the ground and opened up, a brilliant red colour brightening the forest's green. She stopped and looked down at the fully grown flower. She hadn't known that she had a power yet, she thought she was the one generation it skipped. Apparently not.

The two sister walked on, Stella at the front and Lakita behind, they where born this way, and that how it will always be. Lakita sniffed the air, he much stronger senses than Sella detected tow wolfs, but the blue fae was not sure if they where male or female. The two sister where very different, Stella was sweet, and very friendly with the power of Water Manipulation. As Lakita was harsh and mean, her power was Electricity Manipulation. They loved each other but always had fights about the smallest things.
The twins kept up with their pace, but now Lakita pushed her sister back, warning her of wolfs near by, Shrugging Stella took the back as Lakita took the lead. The Blue faes power was much more harsh and a better was to protect your self than Stella's. Trotting now Lakita made her way forward, but as they walked a howl came upon them, the faes stopped, looking at each other, but Lakita started walking again, and so did Stella.
As They walked, Lakita found the wolfess , a new bloomed flower at her feet. Smiling her twin stepped forward Smiling, but Lakita pushed her back for safety reason, Looking at the new fae Lakita can see how beautiful she was. The Fae had a red pelt with blue 'markings', her eyes was pretty much the same as the blue on her pelt, and her fur was a teddy bear fluffy. |

"Hello i am Lakita, and his is my twin Stella. Who may you be?",Lakita did not let her sister speak as this wolf may not be friendly but Lakita talked calmly, a small friendly note in her tone, but the wolfess had no expression to her face, you can not read what she was trying to portray."Stella Luna speaks!"Stella Luna thinks![/sub][/blockquote]

He ears perched when he heard the female freeze and he heard her sniffing the air. He knew she had seen him. Great. He huffed quietly, slightly irritated that he had been seen. And yet why, could he not be seen? He muttered something silently in his mind as he let his nose twitched, inhaling all the scents. He could hear To'sa moving forward, away from him. He didn't exactly care if she walked away from him. He was a blind freak; and why would anyone be intrested in a blind freak?
He could smell To'sa's powerful anxiousness smell, it filled his nostrils. He shook his head slightly to get the scent out, for it made his minnd cloudy for some stupid reason. He suddenly froze when he could smell the twins coming. He, like To'sa, hated crowds. But he could handle three wolves. Any more than three? For him that meant get out of there, run away.
His jaws parted slightly in silent amazement when he heard To'sa's howl. It was like a melody to him. He heard the soft sound of leaves moving, and the scent of a flower drifted around To'sa. She had a power. And yet the only power he had was blindness, sharp hearing and tastes. That was all he knew of. Otherwise, he had nothing but darkness that followed him everywhere. Yet another reason he hated himself: being blind. And he was desprate to turn his blindness into a strength.
He froze when he heard voices. "Hello i am Lakita, and his is my twin Stella. Who may you be?" came Likata's smooth voice that had a hint of friendlyness in it. Curious and forgetting he was blind, he took a false step forward. Huge mistake.
His paws slipped. In secouds he was flying down the hill, hazel eyes streched wide in surprise, fear, excitement, and confusion. A weird noise that was half growl half yelp of surprise escaped him. He slid down the slope, flying past To'sa, and barely missing Likata by a few inches. He left a deep scorch of claw marks down his wake as he tried to stop himself from sliding so fast. He flew the wind whip past him as he missed crashing into a tree by a inch. This was the most exciting thing ever, but also it sent shivers down his spine. And he kept sliding until he finally slammed head first into a tree. He had probally slid about seventy feet down the slope aay from the three females.

To'sa They say that things happen for a reason, But no wise word's gonna stop the bleeding.
To'sa felt all three wolves advancing on her, her little personal space bubble shrinking and getting close to popping. Honestly, her instincts were telling her to disappear, retreat into the forest's darkness, it would be easy. But if she would have done this, what would she have accomplished for the day besides making a rose bloom, which she was still puzzling over. Just suck it up. To'sa's harsh mental voice commanded her, the voice was always right, it had never led her wrong, perhaps because it was her sensible side. Even though To'sa didn't like doing things, most of the time she absolutely knew that she had to. Her slight paws planted themselves evenly on the ground, the gorgeous rose just between her forelegs. She wouldn't run away this time, if her Lahkotan ancestors put up with the humans experiments, To'sa could deal with some company.
Her exquisite eyes were planted on the Dreca females as they approached warily. The blue one had a slight electric current seeming to form around her, it put poor To'sa on high alert. It seemed that the two were opposites, the pink female seemed a little more laid back and just fun loving. Still the red and blue female had no idea about the Dreca behind her, it seemed he hadn't made a move toward her, so she kept one ear in his direction while the rest of her attention rested on the Dreca twins. "Hello i am Lakita, and this is my twin Stella. Who may you be?", A slight smile reached To'sa's red muzzle at the way only one would speak and that one was the blue Dreca who seemed more hostile.
"Hau," To'sa used the lahkotan word for hello in her speech, she didn't like concentrating on speaking the little words correctly. "I'm To'sa."
The tense atmosphere evaporated. Maybe I could get used to this... To'sa thought to herself eagerly, but maybe she thought it a little too soon. The male moved forward and came tumbling down the slope, past the threesome. Was he blind? Who could not see that slight drop? Somehow he twisted onto his front and scraped his way down the hill. To'sa flinched, that had to have hurt somewhere. Though her social skills weren't the best, her empathy for others was too much to keep locked away. Despite the situation, To'sa instinctively lunged down the ravine after him, her long legs and small paws keeping her balanced.
Her journey down the slope stopped when she reached his spot and peered down at him from the top of long legs. Her head tilted slightly as she looked down on him, literally. When she saw no wounds on him, other than the obvious bruising he would have in the morning she smiled at him slightly.
"Careful there superman, you could've hit that tree."
To'sa voice was very fitting to her personality and looks. It was soft, but strong and a very gorgeous voice indeed. She knew she could trust this Dreca, he seemed about as nervous as she had been a moment ago, anyone who had anything in common with her was to be trusted. Unless they proved themselves otherwise.
"Anyways, I'm To'sa."

The female was sad that her sister had pushed her back, it was true that Stella was overly friendly and some times shy, but she knew she could thrust this wolf. She looked nervous and uncomfortable. But Stella wanted to break the ice, that was in till Lakita pushed her back, Stella did not like that very much but she let her sis, because is she didn't step back Lakita's temper could flare and she could get electrocuted.
But as Stella turned around she saw something tumbling towards them, Stella instinctively moved out of the way, but her twin did not notice as she just finished speaking. Stella watched as a brute came baling down the sloop, he had fallen like he did not see the ground turn. She watched in horror as the brute almost ran into Lakita, but missed just missed. Stella started to walk down the sloop to see if he was okay. with Lakita at the back and the red fae in the front.
The Brute looked like he was okay. but like the usual Stella worried to much, she looked the male over, not sure if he needed her water manipulation power to get him up. Stella looked at her sister, whom did not seem very concerned right now. "Are you okay? did you not see the sloop?", Stella looked at To'sa as she spoke, the female looked a bit ore comfortable, but Stella was worried about the brute.
" Well nice to meet you To'sa, and what is your name?" |
Stella looked at To'sa then back to the male, her mind was wondering what she could do right now, but the brutes entrance was enough to calm everybody nerve. But Stella could see that Lakita was not too happy because of his entrance or the fact that he almost hit her. But Stella touched her sisters shoulder with her pink tail trying to say Calm sister, Calm "Stella Luna speaks!"Stella Luna thinks![/sub][/blockquote]

Lakita noticed her sister was not to happy for her to take the lead, but Lakita new it was best in case this wolf was aggressive. But as she watched the female became calmer. But as Lakita saw the wolf that was hiding, a Brute , came bailing down the sloop, Lakita laughed a bit as he came tumbling down, but stopped laughing as she noticed her sister moving to the side, and as she looked up the male had just skimmed her, barely passed Lakita with our hitting her.
Lakita did not think this was funny anymore, now she just though this wolf was a clumsy Brute. Following the other to see if he was okay, Lakita did not care much, but she followed anyways, like her sister says 'its nice to see if wolfs are okay'. But Lakita new he was fine, the wolf looked just embarrassed. But she watched as Stella made a fool of her self by spazing in her question.
Lakita ignored the whole commotion and just answered To'sa, she knew he was fine. |
" Yes nice to meet you, like Stella said, and i'm sure the brute is fine.'Lakita stated as she sat down. "Stella Luna speaks!"Stella Luna thinks![/sub][/blockquote]

The grand entrance he made. Yep, crashing head first into a huge root. He head snapped around as he stared blindly west. He could sense something there. He shook his head. Nothing was there. He pulled himself out of the akward position, flexing. He pointed his face upward when he heard the sound of twelve paws. Nice how strangers follow you when you're blind and you slip on a little slope any normal wolf would avoid.
His ears perched when he heard To'sa's voice. "Careful there superman, you could've hit that tree."He grinned at that. He hadn't smiled in days. His ears twitched when he heard Likata's voice, and then Stella's. "Are you okay? did you not see the sloop?" Uneasyness prickled his pelt. They would seen find out.
He was about to respond to them when Likata inturupted him. If he had his sight he would have marched up to the female and whacked her over the head with a paw. But of course, he didn't really care. He was curious about To'sa. He got up and shook his pelt, sending pine needles flying into nearby tree roots and the ground. Aparently his entrance into their conversasion had calmed them all down, and he had no idea why.
He pointed his blind eyes at all of them. They should know the truth. His claws dug into the ground, but none of the females noticed. He needed the nerve to speak to them without being wary unless they showed signs of agression to him. "To'sa. Beautiful name. " He tilted his head to the side as he said this, flickering an ear. He kept hhis ears perched cuasually. "I'm Hydrotoxic."

To'sa They say that things happen for a reason, But no wise word's gonna stop the bleeding.
Pushing away her unease at the closeness of the group, To'sa glanced at each wolf separately. It seemed that Stella was just as empathetic as To'sa, perhaps the two could be friends, they appeared quite alike. As for the blue femme called Lakita, To'sa wasn't sure of that one, she seemed too hostile, and To'sa wasn't always careful with her words or her actions. Why should she? It wasn't as if she was comfortable around other wolves, they never seemed to get too adjusted to her long silent conversations. To'sa didn't really care, it just made life more complicated, she liked simple and quiet. Backing up a little, To'sa sat down so she wouldn't be right in front of the male. A quiet exhale of breath came from her muzzle, she was much more accustomed to being slightly away from a group. Stella took it from there with the questions and worrying, which caused To'sa's pretty muzzle to turn up in a smile. She dipped her head slightly to Stella as she told To'sa that it was nice to meet her. She was slowly retreating back into her quiet mind, though she did look at the brute to see what his name was, for that To'sa was curious.
Lakita's angry energy flicked at To'sa, she could feel that she was not happy in the least. When she sauntered over and sat down with barely a glance to the brute, To'sa had to wonder what made her so bitter. It irritated To'sa that Lakita just carried on with the conversation and dismissed the Dreca male as okay, the end of her tail twitched with irritation. This is why To'sa didn't get involved with many wolves, she just became angry over small things, little mistakes that careless wolves made. Nevertheless, To'sa inclined her head slightly with a smile toward Lakita in politeness. It wasn't her job to keep everyone in line now was it? Not anymore anyway. The voice told her, but she couldn't figure out what it meant. It often said things that she didn't get the meaning of.
The male's voice came to her ears, breaking her out of her little bubble. "To'sa. Beautiful name." Her eyes strayed to his face in confusion, she had never heard someone say that before. To'sa's lapse in control of her features ended as she smoothed out her face, but she was still blushing under her fur, if that was possible. To'sa glanced toward the twin's to see what they would say, because To'sa was at loss for words. Then the male stated his name, which broke the silence. Hydrotoxic... She hadn't heard this name before, but that wasn't saying much, she hadn't heard of Lakita or Stella before either. Something registered in To'sa's mind, telling her to look back at Hydrotoxic's eyes. Those were the eyes of wolves she knew, but when had she known them? Blind. Nothing made sense, but To'sa knew that he was blind now. Which explained the fall. Yet To'sa didn't say anything, if he wanted all of them to know he was blind, then he'd say something.
"Well in case you didn't catch it, these two are Stella and Lakita."
Purposely introducing them to him, it was time someone spoke besides Lakita. Hopefully Stella would have the guts to say something now, the air was open for it.

The Blue fae watched as the male got up, she looked at him with an annoyed face. But that's when she noticed his eye, they where not looking at anything just space, and the way they looked, Lakita new ,now, that the brute is blind. Lakita was not usually a very nice or emotional wolf, but she felt bad for what the brute must have gone through. Humans where very cruel and Lakita hatted them.
Standing up again Lakita shook her pelt and said what she felt. |
"Well Hydrotoxic, nice to meet you...and you might wanna fell where you step" That when Stella bit her sister's tail, Lakita growled and gave her sister a small shock. The Pink fae shivered for a moment, then looked at Lakita, giving her the death glare but Lakita ignored it.
She looked at To'sa, she thought the name was nice but unusual. She watched to see if the male would say or do. "Stella Luna speaks!"Stella Luna thinks![/sub][/blockquote]

Hydrotoxic sat down again, but an ear kept twitching. He sensed something none of the others could sense. He flickered his tail in adknowledgement to them when they proclaimed their names, as he already had. He then began to wonder if anyone had sensed it yet. If any of them knew. Stella and Lakita where muttering to one another. He didn't really care because he could hear them.
His ears perched when he heard To'sa speak again, but he felt her eyes staring at him from where she had moved away. She told him Stella and Lakita's name. He flickered his tail at them, a silent sign of him saying hello. He froze and his eyes narrowed when Lakita told him to feel where he stepped. Apparently they all knew now. Wonderful suprise. Unfurlling his tail from around his paws, he flexed his claws, sinking them into the dirt and relaxing.
Even though he was blind, his eyes stared at all of them. "You know I'm blind. It does not offend me, Lakita." he growled his reply to her. He could hear Stella biting her twin's tail. He heard her slight gasp as a shock passed through her. He guessed Lakita was the dominant one of them. His head suddenly wipped around. Hisd hackles rose slightly, a sign of warning and danger. A rabbit burst out nearby. He let it get away, and slowly his hackles lowered and his turned his head back toward the three, waiting for someone to speak.

To'sa They say that things happen for a reason, But no wise word's gonna stop the bleeding.
A small sigh escaped the red and blue fae's muzzle in exasperation, could Lakita be any more blunt than she had been just then? It didn't seem so to To'sa, personally she wouldn't have said anything about it, as if she hadn't noticed at all. Really it didn't effect or change To'sa at all, he was just another Dreca, there wasn't reason to treat him differently, in a good or bad way. Just like anyone else he'd have to earn what she thought of him, so far, she didn't know what to think of him. That only made her more curious, however she kept her respectful distance and expected the rest to do the same for her. As long as she was kept comfortable, she would be fine.
"Lakita, don't you think you should be more sparing with your... gift? And a bit more mindful of others regardless of who they are. It'd do you good to listen to Stella."
To'sa's voice had an edge of warning in it, she did not enjoy overseeing pain being inflicted from one to another, otherwise they'd all be just as bad as the humans. Her red tail flicked with growing irritation at the blue Dreca, this is why To'sa preferred to be alone. If wolves did not like being told what to do and what not to do then they could never stand her, To'sa was a born mother because of this. All she knew was manners and kindness, though she had a stern aura about her. Hydrotoxic's voice reached her ears once again as he told Lakita off as well, of course she needed it and more wolves needed to stick up for themselves. He was quite right in his words, it wasn't something to be asamed of, being blind, all of your other senses sharpened and you could understand things that others couldn't. You would know To'sa. To'sa's ears flattened momentarily when her mind told her what she couldn't yet understand.
All of a sudden Hydrtoxic was all on edge, this alerted To'sa, but she wasn't sure what he was after. He seemed awfully disturbed. A rabbit burst across the clearing, and Hydrotoxic relaxed. Was that all? A rabbit. He must've thought it was something else, but the whole moment amused To'sa.
"You'd do well not to get all worked up for a rabbit, you had me convinced there was a pack of Orifiel coming after us."
An amused smile pulled up the edges of her fair muzzle, a barely audible chuckle coming from it. All three of the other Dreca's had character, To'sa wouldn't have been able to handle a different crowd for sure.
I'm still alive but the other one's leaving. I'm falling to pieces

Lakita growled under her breath but sat down, for some reason To'sa sounded like their mother. Lakita hated that. She didnt like the way every thought she needed to be nicer and gentler, Lakita did not like thrusting others, especially what happened to her old pack. Lakita watched as her sister spoke.
Stella was mad at her sister, she thought her twin was being very rude. Their mother had thought them well, but Stella was the one who picked it up. Stella faced the male and apologized for the both of them,'Hydrotoxic im very sorry for my sisters behavior, she didnt mean what she says, i think she was just worried". Stella knew her sister was not a monster but she did have some issues. Sitting down to make her self more comfortable, Stella thought in how much these wolfs seemed nice. She smiled at To'sa and Hydrotoxic, not caring at all about looks, she would much rather see the heart.
